What’s in the Box? A Life-Changing Surprise

What’s in the Box? A Life-Changing Surprise

– As you all know, it’s
Breast Cancer Awareness Month,
And in honor of that,
we’re going to play a game
I’m calling Ulta Beauty’s Ultra
Beautiful What’s in the Box?
Okay, look down there.
There are three boxes
and two people.
And so, box number one
is Kensington, of course.
So do you want what’s in the box
in front of Kensington?
[harp music]
There is no one behind that box,
so, Kensington,
does that box belong to you?
Okay.
Or box number two.
[harp music]
Ah, both of you.
Or Petals, of course,
on box number three.
Would you like–
what are you feeling, which box?
– One.
– You want box number one.
Let’s see what’s behind
box number one.
Oh, it’s a bunch
of wonderful novels.
– Oh, nice!
– Mary Higgins Clark novels.
– Thank you.
– Isn’t that great?
– Thank you.
– You’re welcome.
Do you like to read?
– Yeah.
– You may have those already.
What else is back there,
anything else?
– Oh, it’s a $500 Ulta
gift card.
– I know, isn’t that wonderful?
– Thank you, thank you,
thank you!
[cheers and applause]
– Oh, you’re welcome.
[all cheering]
All right, so here we go.
Now we have–it’s a screen,
right?
It’s like a three-card monte,
okay?
You know, like the three card
monte, you know what that is?
Let’s reveal what’s behind
number–the card number one.
That’s a $150 Ulta gift card.
Then what’s behind
the next card?
There’s a 32″ TCL Roku TV,
and the third card is
a donation–
not to you,
don’t get excited.
[audience laughter]
It’s $10,000 for
breast cancer research,
which would be a wonderful thing
if you picked that,
because you’d go home
empty-handed,
but they would get $10,000,
right?
Okay, so we turn ’em over,
and we mix ’em all around,
so you don’t know
where anything is,
and if you do,
then you’re really good.
All right, okay, let’s see which
one you were going to pick.
– Uh, the middle.
– You want the middle one.
Let’s see what you picked.
– Okay.
[cheers and applause]
Wow.
[cheers and applause]
That’s amazing.
[cheers and applause]
[cheers and applause]
That’s wonderful
that you did that.
Okay, so that is going
to go to–
You picked the $10,000 donation,
and because you did that, now
I’m going to give you a chance
to do something different.
Now, can we just put
two cards up there?
All right, now,
let’s show you what’s left.
It’s obviously
the $150 Ulta gift card
or the 32″
TCL Roku television, okay?
Now, I’m going to
turn them over,
and you’re going to pick one,
and no pressure,
but whatever you pick,
the entire audience is getting.
[cheers and applause]
I know.
[cheers and applause]
[cheers and applause]
[audience all yelling
indistinctly]
[all chanting “TV!”]
All right, yes!
All right.
So, you don’t–ah!
Oh.
– I’ll pick the second one.
The second one over by Trixie.
Okay.
[cheers and applause]
Congratulations!
[cheers and applause]
[cheers and applause]
You’re all going home with
a TCL Roku TV!
[cheers and applause]
– We’ll be back!
[cheers and applause]
All month long they have been
donating $50,000–
$50, not $50,000–$50 to Breast
Cancer Research Foundation
for every pink TV sold.
I’ll see you tomorrow.
Be kind to one another, bye.
