Crackdown 3 Still Needs Work, Xbox Boss Says

Crackdown 3 Still Needs Work, Xbox Boss Says

If you’re excited for Crackdown 3, you know
it’s had a pretty messy development history
and a few delays.
I’m Tony, and this GameSpot News Update has
a new status report.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer was asked about Crackdown
3 on Twitter, to which he responded, quote,
“I was playing a full build yesterday.
Nice work by the team, more work to do but
good progress, my agent felt like the wrecking
machine I enjoy.”
At one point, Crackdown 3 was in development
at three different studios–Sumo Digital,
Reagent Games, and Cloudgine–but now only
Sumo is working on it.
Additionally, the game has been delayed three
times since being announced, with a current
window of February 2019.
When Crackdown 3 does release for Xbox One
and PC, it’ll also come to Xbox Game Pass.
For now, you can read all we know about the
game and what we want to see on GameSpot.

Crackdown was a reasonably solid game.

    Crackdown 2 was disappointing.

With that track record, I don't even know why people are so damn hyped for this 3rd game anyway. I'll grab it off Game Pass for sure though.

I'm an Xbox player but I still di 't see the hype. Looks pretty boring honestly. The old gameplay footage looked fun, especially that online.
